ACC PUBLISHES COMPREHENSIVE POST-ADOPTION RESOURCE

(November 5, 2008). The ACC’s post-adoption services project is well underway and we are proud to share our materials with the entire adoption community.

This initiative will assist adoptive parents in the adjustments and transitions inherent in the adoption process. A French version of the toolkit will be made available in early 2009.

Post-adoption facilitator training will also be taking place in the coming months:

·         December 5-7, 2008: Edmonton, Alberta (for Western Canada)

·         January 16-18, 2009: Ontario (for Ontario and Quebec – English)

·         January 23-25, 2009: Quebec (Francophone training event)
