NEW PARTNERSHIP FOR THE ADOPTION COUNCIL OF CANADA

(January 7, 2008). The Adoption Council of Canada (ACC) is proud to announce that it has received funding from the Government of Canada’s Social Development Partnerships Program! This project funding will allow the ACC to continue with its program, Canada’s Waiting Children, and embark on other initiatives.
 

The ACC is very thankful for this funding and knows that it will go a long way in promoting the placement of waiting children across Canada.
 

The ACC will continue to work on promoting provincial and territorial partnerships so that our organization may continue with other adoption-related projects. We also encourage individuals to lend their voice to the ACC by becoming a member. The funding from the Government of Canada does not assist in important policy and legislative efforts and we rely on membership and donations to help us continue in our work.
