ACC Membership Coordinator
Volunteer Position

Length of Commitment:
1 year

Brief Description of Main Duties:
The ACC is looking for a volunteer to coordinate and revitalize its membership base.  This individual would reach out to potential members and agencies to grow membership, assist with renewal process for existing members, maintain database of members, and send out periodic notices to existing members.  S/he would help develop and maintain membership literature, membership program including benefits of membership, and renewal system.

Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Familiarity with issues pertinent to adoption community and breadth of Canadian adoption organizations an asset.
Demonstrated proficiency with email and social media.
Familiarity with database software preferred.  
Willingness to work independently.  
Should be goal-oriented and comfortable promoting the work of the ACC.

Expected weekly time commitment:
2-5 hours/week
