Eunice Machado, Director, Ontario

Eunice became interested in Adoption Council of Canada as a prospective adoptive parent. While navigating the sometimes frustrating adoption process, she was concerned to learn about the significant number of children in foster care, and the process by which those children are matched with  loving adoptive parents.

While she continues in her personal journey to adopt, Eunice is working to disspel many adoption related misconceptions, particularly ones that  affect children in foster care awaiting permanent families.

She is especially looking forward to the day that she can change this profile to read that she has become an adoptive parent! Eunice is counsel with the Ministry of the Attorney General in Toronto, Ontario.
