The Adoption Council of Canada's Community Champions Network

Community Champions Network

In 2006, with funding from Jockey Being Family, NACAC (North American Council on Adoptable Children) embarked on a new initiative to expand post-adoption support services in communities around North America.

In Canada, adoptive parents and other members of the adoption community in Ontario, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick have joined the network and are helping to advocate for improved adoption supports.

There’s nothing like a little help from friends in the adoption community to guide and support you along your adoption path.

NACAC's Community Champions Network is able to help adoptive, foster and kinship parent support group leaders in the US and Canada start, rejuvenate, or enhance an adoptive parent support group. Visit their site to learn further details about their services, and how you can become a champion in your neighborhood.
