CANADIAN ADOPTION RESEARCH SUMMARIES / SOMMAIRES DE RECHERCHES CANADIENNES SUR L'ADOPTION

Introduction

The Canadian adoption research reports shown below are available in summary form. The summaries were prepared in 2003 by Inter-country Adoption Services (IAS, www.hrdc-drhc.gc.ca/hrib/sdd-dds/cfc/content/interAdopt.shtml), at the federal government's Department of Social Development.

IAS chose these reports for summarizing to help Canadians embarking on an international adoption. Part of the IAS mandate is to gather and disseminate adoption information. The authors of the reports have given their permission for publication of the summaries.

Introduction

Les rapports de recherche canadienne sur l'adoption ci-dessous sont disponibles en sommaire. Les Services à l'adoption internationale (SAI, www.hrdc-drhc.gc.ca/hrib/sdd-dds/cfc/content/interAdoptx.shtml) au Ministère fédéral du Développement Social ont rédigé les sommaires en 2003.

Les SAI ont réalisé ce projet dans le but d'aider les Canadiens qui s'engagent dans un processus d'adoption internationale.

Un des objectifs principaux des SAI est la communication de renseignements sur l'adoption. Les auteurs de ces rapports ont gentiment accepté que ces sommaires soient accessibles au grand public.
